1-hour workshop hosted by Sam Sessamen, LMHC-D, EMDR Certified on trauma informed approaches to increase client retention and decrease late cancellations and no-shows. This workshop will address:
-Review of tenants of trauma informed care
-Factors that influence cancellations and “losing” clients
-How to create structure in your sessions to promote safety and predictability
-Assessment and goal planning that increases client engagement
-Harm reduction techniques
-Emotion regulations techniques to increase client feelings of safety and trust in the therapy space
